Texas Mandarin was born out of the December 18, 2008 Lego Calendar. He's similar to the prior Escaped Convict, but Waiterbot renamed him per the year's habit. He was one of the few confirmed dead at the end of 2008 due to the Giant Coconut Crabs, as seen in the 2009 prelude.
