LEGO ADVENT CALENDAR, DECEMBER 19th: Today's gift is a RED WAGON. That's nice. It's a good wagon. Now let's get back to NAKED SANTA.
I still can't believe it. A thong-donnin' Santa Claus, with a scrubbing brush. How? Toy companies are so self-censoring these days. It's hard to imagine even the most devotedly offbeat thinker overcoming the various obstacles that surely awaited anyone looking to mass produce a kiddy toy based on a nude Santa.
LEGO is based in Denmark. Naked Santa paints Denmark as a seedy country, full of illegal betting, neon lights and zero boundaries. Perhaps naked Santa Clauses are no big deal over there. -Matt
